I have been hunting and loving the outdoors as far back as I can remember, starting with my bb gun at age 8 to shooting my first deer with my dad at the age of 12. That was the beginning of my life long addiction for pursuing whitetails. Since then, I have become a Whitetail Fanatic and have been blessed to have taken numerous Trophy deer with both my bow and gun. Even when the hunting season is closed you can still find me in the woods, scouting, planning, and preparing for the upcoming year. Now I am passing these traditions down to my son who shot his first deer at age of 10. Since starting my business, I've also had numerous happy clients go home with trophy whitetails. And now have over 10 years in business.
Joseph Wheeler Jr. was born and raised in Plainfield, Wisconsin. This is where he developed his passion for hunting on his family's farm. He is a graduate from Michigan State University, class of 2001 with a B.S. Degree in Nursery management. He works and plans to take over the family business, Laura's Lane Nursery. In 2008 he started JW Outfitters and offers land management services geared towards hunting and installing Food plots. He is also currently one of the Top Fair Chase Outfitters in Central Wisconsin.
